I’ll admit, I’ve been (and still am) guilty of this one. I tend to overwater or underwater my plants. The main reason is because different plants require different amounts of water. So you could need to water one plant a bucket load and then move two feet to another plant that doesn’t need much water at all. Again, do some research and know the water quantity your plants need.
